Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a bakery team member to prepare, bake and decorate breads, pastries, and pies. You will handle wrapping, labeling, stock management, and seasonal production planning while delivering friendly customer service and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Ideal candidates demonstrate passion for natural foods, teamwork, and the ability to work a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency. Flexibility for nights/weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries including cake decorating.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Bakes, cools, wraps, and labels products.
• Stocks dry products and maintains merchandising.
• Trains production personnel to high standards.
• Performs production planning for events and holidays.
• Maintains Datapax production modules and follows safety procedures.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Handle opening, mid, and closing duties and ensure accurate pricing.
