Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Bakery Processing Operator for the 3rd shift to safely produce high-quality bakery products in a continuous manufacturing environment. You will operate baking equipment, weigh ingredients, monitor processes, and document data to ensure food safety and efficiency.

You will work with production supervisors, QA, maintenance, sanitation, and warehouse teams while upholding GMP and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing, production, food processing, or similar environment.
• Ability to read batch sheets, recipes, work instructions, or production docs.
• Basic math skills and ability to weigh/measure accurately.
• Operate equipment safely while maintaining quality and productivity.
• Able to work 3rd shift and overtime as needed.
• Able to lift/move materials; tolerate varied temps, humidity, noise, and moving equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing and baking equipment to meet quality and safety standards.
• Weigh ingredients according to batch sheets and recipes.
• Monitor and adjust processing variables (temp, moisture, mix times, weights).
• Inspect products and remove non-conforming items.
• Start-up, shutdown, changeovers, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Document production data (temperatures, times, weights, item numbers).
• Identify issues and communicate appropriately; monitor for contamination.
• Follow sanitation procedures during cleanups and changeovers; handle chemicals properly.
• Move raw materials with forklifts/pallet jacks; unload ingredient trailers.
• Maintain inventory levels and communicate material needs.
• Monitor seasoning application and adjust as needed; keep a clean/organized workspace.
• Follow PPE and food safety requirements; report hazards.
• Support overtime and perform additional duties as assigned.
