Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is hiring a Controls Technician for a major bakery in Swedesboro, NJ. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines, and provide technical leadership to Electro-Mechanics across shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma with extensive industrial controls experience, proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and related documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PLCs, drives, networks, and control systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
• Maintain electrical schematics, control programs, system configurations, and equipment documentation.
• Support plant utility systems including steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution.
• Follow GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement.
