Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Controls Technician to maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines.

You will lead troubleshooting, train Electro-Mechanics across shifts, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring GMP, safety, and regulatory standards are met. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Reading electrical schematics, machine layouts, P&IDs; understanding system interconnections.
• Proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming, configuration, and troubleshooting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to train/co-ordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
• Support plant utility systems and ensure GMP, safety, and quality standards.
