Job summary

Cellones Italian Bread Co. is seeking bakers to join our Pittsburgh bakery. You will operate the pan bench, calibrate dough scaling, and ensure adherence to GMPs and safety rules.

Night, day, and early morning shifts are available in a 110,000 sq ft facility with family-owned history since 1911. Experience is not required, but ability to pass drug and background checks is mandatory. Eligible employees receive insurance, pension options, and daily bread perks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend instruments and gauge settings.
• Ability to visually assess for imperfections and quality issues and determine the source.
• Use eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills to adjust product length and address issues.
• Ability to multi-task using visual acuity and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate pan divider to scale dough into pans per product specs.
• Set up guides for production processes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production flow issues like pans overlapping.
• Handle product changeovers promptly and accurately.
• Monitor environmental factors affecting dough quality and adjust as needed.
• Report quality or equipment issues to Shift Supervisor – Baking.
