Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a Packaging Associate to join our production team in Dickson, TN. You will perform manual and semi-automated packaging tasks, ensuring accurate weights, counts, and labeling in strict GMP and HACCP conditions.

We value attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, and flexibility for shifts including evenings or weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of packaging, production, or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and Food Defense policies preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended shifts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and semi-automated packaging tasks on assigned packaging lines.
• Verify package weights, counts, and labels against established product specifications; report out-of-spec conditions.
• Assist with packaging line startup, changeover, and shutdown activities.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation per GMP, HACCP, and packaging sanitation schedule.
• Report material defects or shortages to the Packaging Supervisor and train new Packaging Associates.
