Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a Production Associate to oversee and perform a wide range of tasks to produce high quality product that meets customer specifications. You will help keep the line running, ensure quality, and support safe, cost-effective operations on the production floor.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting line stops, assisting with line startups, and monitoring product quality to prevent defects.

Qualifications

• Follow all GMPs, food safety and quality policies.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Must work well in a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Complete various production tasks as assigned by Production Operator.
• Clears jams and handles pans on the line.
• Troubleshoots line stops and restarts production.
• Assist in line startups and changeovers.
• Oversee product quality and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Maintain high production rates as set by supervision.
• Minimize waste by separating rework from raw dough.
• Monitor side trimmings and notify if excessive.
• Remove out-of-spec product and report non-conforming items.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to safety policies.
• Perform other related responsibilities to support objectives.
• Plan, problem solve and foster teamwork.
