Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a Packaging Associate to join our production team and ensure accurate, safe packaging of finished bakery products. You will work on assigned packaging lines, perform weight and label verification, and help with line changes and sanitation to uphold GMP standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and up to 2 years in packaging or food production, with attention to detail and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in packaging, production, or food manufacturing is helpful.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and basic food-safety practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and semi-automated packaging tasks on assigned lines.
• Verify weights, counts, and labels against specs; report variances.
• Assist with line startup, changeovers, and shutdowns.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per GMP standards.
• Follow allergen protocols and complete related documentation.
• Monitor packaging materials for defects and report shortages.
