Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Packing Relief - 1st shift to join our production team. You will coordinate daily packaging, support team members, and ensure products are packaged safely, accurately, and according to production and quality specifications.

The role offers a 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, weekend availability required, and an hourly rate of $20.00–$21.00. Prior manufacturing experience and ability to read schedules are preferred; bilingual in

Qualifications

• Two years of related manufacturing experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to accurately complete routine production and packaging reports.
• Ability to work the required 1st shift schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily packaging and retail bagging activities to meet production schedules and assign work to team members.
• Monitor product quality and food safety requirements, including metal detector testing, freezer temperatures, and core product temperatures.
• Verify lot codes, bar codes, use-by dates, case labels, retail bags, and inkjet coding for accuracy and legibility.
• Complete packaging, production, spoilage, metal detector, pallet, checklist, and employee-hour documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain adequate packaging materials and supplies to support daily production requirements.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move products, including products entering and leaving the freezer.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and communicate equipment maintenance needs promptly.
