Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to work alongside the Bakery Manager to ensure the highest quality cakes, a welcoming guest experience, and strong team leadership.

You will help drive sales, manage daily bakery operations, schedule staff, and maintain NbC standards for food safety and merchandising. This role requires 1-3 years in guest-facing roles and solid Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment.
• Lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and leads guest engagement and operations.
• Partners with the Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, brand and merchandise presentation, work environment, and inventory control.
• Supports the Bakery Manager in recruiting, selecting and training team members, directing daily work responsibilities, and providing performance feedback.
• Ensures NbC product, service, bakery environment, and visual merchandising standards are upheld and food safety standards are met.
• Assists in scheduling, ordering, payroll processing and basic accounting as needed.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment for individuals and corporate accounts including large orders and deliveries.
• Co-facilitates bakery opening/closing, cash handling and deposits.
• Contributes to local marketing events and community brand-building.
• Maintains knowledge of all bakery roles to cover as business needs dictate.
