Job summary

Preferred: 1 year of retail bakery experience and ServeSafe certification. The role requires ability to lift heavy items, work weekdays, weekends and holidays, and maintain a clean, safe, and inviting bakery area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 80-85 lbs and work in temperature controlled environments.
• Excellent communication with peers and leaders on a daily basis.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage customer orders.
• Experience working in a team-based environment in a grocery setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with inventory management and pricing accuracy.
• Offer samples and recipe suggestions to boost sales.
• Ensure product freshness, rotation, and shelf presentation.
• Schedule staff to meet demand and maintain budgets in the absence of management.
• Maintain sanitation and health standards in the bakery area.
