Job summary

The Bristol Farms Bakery is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the department with confidence, empathy, and a focus on quality, freshness and extraordinary service. You will train staff, supervise the bakery team in the Bakery Manager's absence, and uphold safety, sanitation, and weight and pricing standards.

You will oversee daily operations, merchandising, inventory, and customer interactions, while implementing company policies and fostering a proactive, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 3–6 months related experience.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules and schedules.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of bakery staff in the absence of the Bakery Manager.
• Train and develop employees to assure freshness, quality, customer service, and sanitation.
• Assist with ordering and receiving of bakery products and invoice routing.
• Maintain health codes and sanitation standards.
• Merchandise and display bakery items according to company standards.
