Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily department operations. You will support merchandising, inventory control, and team supervision to maximize productivity and profits.

Qualifications

• Two years retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Ability to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and manual equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort store deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and train team accordingly.
