99 Ranch Market in Kent, WA is seeking a Department Supervisor for the Bakery to oversee daily bakery operations, inventory, and display. You will drive sales through KPI monitoring and effective customer service while coordinating with store management.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and adherence to safety and quality standards. English and Mandarin or Cantonese skills are preferred; a Food Handler’s certificate is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in bakery, food service, food production, or a related field is preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Mandarin, English/Cantonese, or English/Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to work assigned schedules, including weekend and holidays as needed.
• Currently possess or have the ability to possess a Food Handler’s certificate.

Responsibilities

• Overall Department Operation – supervise Bakery operations from prep to inventory and display.
• Sales & KPI Performance – monitor department sales and KPIs, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
• Customer Service – ensure excellent service and address customer suggestions and complaints.
• PI Count & System Usage – use company system to track sales and inventory and conduct monthly counts.
• Omni & HQ Support – assist in Omni channel services and related duties to boost sales.
• Ordering & Receiving – order, receive, and check product quality/quantity.
• Stocking & Processing – manage FIFO stocking, trimming, and labeling for correct pricing.
• Display – create attractive displays and signage to drive sales.
• Compliance, Loss Prevention, & Reporting – monitor assets and report incidents.
• Safety – maintain safe, sanitary environments and comply with regulations.
• Maintenance – keep equipment clean and logs updated.
• Sustainability – manage expiration dates and replenishment.
• Promotion & Demo – plan promotions and organize demos.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
