Job summary

The GIANT Company in Carlisle, PA is hiring for a store position responsible for daily bakery and store duties. You will review schedules, stock shelves, bake goods, wrap products, and maintain clean displays while adhering to safety standards.

This role requires reading and communicating effectively, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and completion of forklift training. Prior retail or food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively to complete duties and follow policies.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to work in the U.S.
• Must complete the 60-day probationary period and meet safety/physical requirements.
• Must be able to use or learn equipment and tools used in the job.
• Must meet performance standards including regular attendance and dress code.
• Forklift training is required.

Responsibilities

• Review shift schedule, equipment, and PPE at start of shift.
• Enter orders, schedule work, supervise/train team members, stock items, and adjust pricing as needed.
• Assemble and bake goods, wrap and label products, and maintain clean display cases.
• Package, label, display, and replenish goods while ensuring freshness and proper rotation.
• Sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, and floors.
