Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring for a store position at our Mechanicsburg, PA location. You will start each shift by reviewing the schedule, ensuring PPE, and preparing for duties, with tasks including stocking, food preparation, and customer service.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S., 18 or older, and able to meet physical requirements. 1 year of experience preferred; forklift training is required through our in-house program. We offer equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid identification
• Able to read, write, and communicate to complete duties and follow policies
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must complete 60-day probationary period
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements
• Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance
• Must wear assigned clothes and shoes
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred
• Must complete in-house forklift-training program

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare PPE and duties.
• Enter orders, schedule work and production, supervise and train team members, receive, store, and stock items, check dates, adjust pricing as needed.
• Assemble and bake goods, place on trays, rack trays, move to oven, and bake.
• Package and label baked goods, print labels, clean display cases, and restock fresh goods.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters.
