The Fresh Market in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead team members, manage department inventory, pricing integrity, and daily operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will greet guests, make recommendations, supervise ordering, receiving, stocking, and the preparation of breads and pastries, while coaching staff to deliver exceptional guest service in a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant, baking, or culinary roles.
• Ability to read, understand and follow planograms and department layouts for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, accurate service.
• Make recommendations and accommodate requests.
• Manage order guides, deadlines, shrink reduction.
• Receive, stock, and rotate goods.
• Slice and prepare breads, pastries, and ready-to-eat items.
• Direct teams to merchandising aligned with Fresh Market standards.
• Coach and train team members using internal training platform.
