Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Bakery Manager in Macon, GA to lead the bakery team, manage inventory, ensure pricing integrity, and drive profitable operations. This fast-paced role demands attention to detail, efficiency, and a passion for excellence to deliver great guest service.

You will guide the team, optimize planograms, and uphold TFMs standards while training staff to maintain quality and safety across all bakery offerings.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant, baking, and/or culinary fields.
• Ability to read planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively assist them with accurate and timely service.
• Make recommendations and accommodate requests.
• Manage order guides, deadlines, and shrink reduction.
• Receive/stock goods following rotation standards.
• Prepare breads, pastries, and convenient meal solutions throughout the day.
• Direct teams in receiving, stocking, and merchandising to TFMs standards.
• Coach and train team members on-the-job and via internal training platforms.
