The Fresh Market is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the department, manage inventory, ensure pricing integrity, and oversee daily operational processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will guide team members, maintain high standards for product presentation, and drive results through excellent guest service and adherence to The Fresh Market’s training platforms and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant, baking, and/or culinary experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests and proactively assist them with accurate and timely service.
• Make recommendations and accommodate requests for guests.
• Manage order guides, ordering deadlines, shrink reduction, and damage control.
• Receive/stock products following rotation standards when replenishing inventory.
• Handle, slice and prepare a variety of breads, pastries, and Convenient Meal Solutions.
• Direct teams to receive, stock, and merchandise according to company standards.
• Coach and train team members on the job and via internal training platforms to ensure excellent guest service.
