Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) seeks a Bakery Manager/Lead Operator in Indianapolis to lead daily bakery operations, oversee cake production, guest experience, and staff development. You will drive sales and profitability while maintaining NbC’s high-quality standards and welcoming atmosphere for guests and the community.

The role reports to the District Manager and supervises up to 30 bakery team members, with responsibilities spanning leadership, operations, and local marketing to uphold brand

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic retail math and P&L levers driving sales and profitability.
• Ability to analyze business and financial data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong guest focus and interpersonal skills for team engagement and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery team, recruit and train staff, communicate performance expectations and provide coaching.
• Open and close bakery, balance cash drawers and deposits; manage inventory and ordering.
• Oversee special orders, weekly sales goals, and scheduling to optimize productivity and profitability.
• Coordinate local marketing and community outreach to raise brand visibility.
