Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Indianapolis is seeking a Bakery Manager/Lead Operator to direct day-to-day bakery operations, guest service, cake production, and brand presentation. You will lead the team to deliver high-quality cakes and a warm customer experience while managing inventory, scheduling, and cost controls.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, overseeing special orders, and driving weekly sales and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of leadership experience managing teams, business operations and the guest experience in the retail, hospitality or foodservice industries.
• Demonstrated success in hiring and developing teams, creating a superior service environment and achieving financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and fosters a positive work environment.
• Recruit and train talent; communicate expectations and provide proper training.
• Engage with team members to monitor workload and address challenges.
• Coach and provide feedback; conduct quarterly reviews and address performance issues.
