Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Manager in Scottsdale to lead the department’s daily baking output, display, and quality control. You will supervise staff, manage inventory and budget, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met while driving sales growth.

You will recruit, train, and coach team members, collaborate with the Store Manager on scheduling and performance, and execute company policies to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Good communication skills; ability to take and give direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work areas.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and pallet handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily output baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise product quality and inventory; manage the budget.
• Evaluate operations and implement improved practices and procedures.
• Maintain safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards.
• Appropriate ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Lead scheduling, staffing, and performance reviews with the Store Manager.
