Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Phoenix is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department, overseeing daily output, production, display, inventory, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

You will coach and develop team members, manage scheduling, ordering, and merchandising, and collaborate with store leadership to maximize sales and gross profit while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
