Maman is seeking a Line Cook to join our fast-paced bakery café team in New York. You will prepare and cook high-quality menu items, assist with daily prep, and ensure food safety and presentation meet Our standards.

Ideal candidates have earlier line cook or prep cook experience in a bakery or café setting, strong time management skills, and a commitment to great guest service in a collaborative BOH/FOH environment. Early mornings, weekends, and holidays are typical shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or prep cook experience in a café, bakery, or casual dining setting.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety protocols.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and procedures.
• Strong time management and multitasking in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with maman’s recipes and standards.
• Assist with daily prep: chop, measure, and assemble ingredients.
• Operate ovens, grills, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow food safety guidelines.
