Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead daily bakery operations, including production, pastries, and artisan breads. You will supervise staff, monitor quality, inventory, and customer service, and coordinate with the Bakery Manager on schedules and performance.

The ideal candidate has bakery supervisory experience, is available nights and weekends, and can manage costs and ensure product integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have bakery management experience and previous supervisory exposure.
• High school diploma or GED is required; Food Management Certification is preferred.
• Nino Salvaggio seeks someone with nights and weekend availability.
• Candidates should be able to stand and/or walk for 8+ hour periods.
• Must be familiar with a variety of bakery products and their preparation.

Responsabilités

• Assist Bakery Manager in directing all bakery functions including production and distribution of products.
• Evaluate and address problem areas; help implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to cost control, customer service, merchandising, quality, and sanitation standards.
• Ensure proper receiving, dating, pricing, and rotation of products.
• Verify deliveries and manage inventory to meet order fulfillment needs.
• Develop associates through training, supervision, and appropriate rewards.
