Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Bakery Manager/Lead Operator in Longmont, CO to direct daily operations, oversee cake production, guest experience, and brand presentation. You’ll lead a energized team, manage P&L, and ensure high quality, friendly service.

This role emphasizes staffing, training, scheduling, inventory control, and cost management, with a strong focus on local marketing and community engagement to grow sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of leadership experience managing teams, operations and the guest experience in retail/hospitality.
• Demonstrated success in hiring and developing teams, creating a superior service environment and achieving financial objectives.
• Experience in creating productivity goals, inventory par levels, and team schedules, and managing costs.
• Foodservice safety training certificate (or required within 30 days of employment).
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery team, prioritizing guest experience and a positive work environment.
• Recruit, train, and coach staff; set clear expectations and provide feedback.
• Oversee opening/closing, cash handling and deposits; manage daily operations.
• Manage special orders and large deliveries via web/email for guests and accounts.
• Create weekly sales goals, production plans, and staff schedules.
• Set inventory par levels and monitor stock; place weekly orders.
• Ensure product, service, safety standards and NbC policies are followed.
• Lead local marketing and community events to boost brand visibility.
