Hy-Vee is seeking a friendly Baker for our Bakery department. You will prepare and bake a range of products, lead bakery clerks, and ensure quality and timely fulfillment of customer orders in a fast-paced store environment.

You will maintain cleanliness and safety, follow department guidelines, and contribute to exceptional customer experience with accurate labeling and on-time production. Great teamwork and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; training in department helpful.
• Over six months up to one year of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with their needs throughout the store.
• Check orders for the day and set up a production timeline and schedule.
• Prepare, bake, fry and pull items from freezer or cooler as needed.
• Review product freshness and plan for current and upcoming days.
• Inspect incoming products for quality and quantity; identify mispicks.
