Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a dedicated Baker in our Oklahoma bakery. You will prepare, bake, fry, and portion products to fill cases and fulfill customer orders daily.

You’ll lead bakery clerks, ensure quality, and maintain production schedules while upholding sanitation and safety standards. Otpimize freshness, review shelf items for expiration, and assist with labeling and merchandising. This role requires teamwork, reliability, and a proactive approach to meeting customer needs in a busy store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; department training helpful.
• Six months to one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with needs throughout the store.
• Prepare, bake, fry, and pull products as needed; lead bakery clerks on shifts.
• Check freshness, manage daily production schedules, and ensure correct labels on items.
• Inspect incoming products for quality and quantity; order supplies as directed.
