Kennesaw State University seeks a Bakery Kitchen Supervisor to oversee food handling, prep and baking across dining halls, retail locations and catering events. You will support the Sous Chef, supervise staff, and help maintain high standards of safety, quality and cleanliness in a busy campus kitchen.

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 SouthMarietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Oversees the handling and preparation of food and performsgeneral cooking duties for dining halls, retail locations and/orcatering events. Oversees food quality, safety and sanitation forthe production area. Supports Sous Chef in execution of stationchecklists, staff oversight, maintaining high food standards andother duties related to kitchen cleanliness and organization.
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Other Required Qualifications
Manager ServSafe certified or obtains certification within twelve(12) months of hire
Required Experience
Two (2) years of related cooking and/or baking experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Technical training in commercial food service preferred
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institutionof higher education in a related field
Culinary degree or certificate from a culinary arts program
Preferred Experience
Previous lead or supervisor experience in a restaurant or foodservice location
Previous experience in an institutional or commercial operation
