Job summary

85C Bakery Cafe in Texas is seeking a General Manager to maximize sales and profit while mentoring a cohesive team of high-performing managers and staff, and serving as a dependable backup when the GM is unavailable.

You will maintain open communication among staff, align with Store Operations and Corporate, uphold the highest Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards, and drive everyday bakery excellence across Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AA in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years store management experience in bakery/restaurant/fast-food.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate complex information.
• Experience in training, operations development, and customer service; ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives; drive store results through others.
• Support recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse pool of talent.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service to each guest; coach and model desired behaviors.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety.
• Cross-train in Bread, Cake, POS, Bar.
• Monitor and meet performance standards, including SOPs.
