Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician at the Bradenton bakery to sustain and troubleshoot plant systems and ensure safety and quality. You will rotate assignments across areas of the facility and pursue ongoing training to stay ahead of evolving technology.

Ideal candidates bring a technical mindset, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work with boilers, HVAC, and related infrastructure while following safety, environmental, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; trade certification is a plus.
• Experience in building maintenance or as a technician in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related field.
• Ability to operate and maintain boilers, HVAC, and related facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot facility/infrastructure systems including boilers, HVAC, and cooling systems.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance (insulation, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting).
• Maintain vendor relationships for general facility maintenance.
• Oversee building and grounds upkeep including sprinkler and fire suppression systems.
• Use SAP for parts checkout, reporting, and data entry.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations; participate in training and schedule adherence.
