Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support and maintain bakery facility systems in Bradenton, FL.

You will work with boilers, HVAC, cooling, insulation, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building needs, rotating across areas and embracing safety and quality standards. The role requires a technical mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to follow company policies; SAP for parts checkout and data entry, and licensing where required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of building maintenance or technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot facility/infrastructure systems (boilers, HVAC, cooling).
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance (insulation, plumbing, electrical, painting).
• Maintain vendor relationships and oversee building upkeep.
• Operate SAP for parts checkout, reporting, data entry.
• Adhere to environmental and maintenance programs.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and comply with company policies (EEO, Safety, etc.).
• Possess or obtain licenses to work with boilers/refrigeration equipment.
