Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Alpharetta, GA is seeking entry-level Team Members to support Bakery operations, including receiving and preparing products, stocking shelves, and maintaining displays. You will help with breaking down deliveries and selling products in line with WFM standards.

Responsibilities include customer service, front-facing displays, and accurate signage while complying with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Able to stand for 6–8 hours and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
