Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Bakery Manager for the Inserra NJ location (ShopRite of Fair Lawn) to lead the Bakery Department and its associates. This role focuses on achieving sales, profit, and customer experience goals under the direction of the General Store Manager.

Responsibilities include leading safety, presentation, and efficiency initiatives; training new department associates; and maintaining department standards, inventory, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak English proficiently and perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for full shifts and lift up to 60 lbs. as required.
• Lead and engage bakery associates to meet department goals.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and regulatory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Bakery Department activities.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and proper food handling throughout the shift.
• Provide excellent customer service and lead by example.
• Train, onboard, and develop department Associates.
• Manage scheduling and staffing to meet sales goals.
