ShopRite - Bakery Manager (Inserra NJ) is responsible for directing all Bakery Department operations at ShopRite of Columbia Park in North Bergen, NJ. You will lead staff, monitor sales, ensure safety, and drive a top-tier Customer Experience while maintaining product quality and department efficiency.

Qualifications include strong English skills, basic math, physical stamina, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and teamwork.

Qualifications

The minimum required qualifications include reading, writing, speaking, analyzing and understanding English.
Ability to perform basic math.
Stand/walk for a full shift.
Perform basic computer functions.
Regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally 60 lbs.
Work with fresh, dried and processed products and spices.
Work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust/cleaning agents.
Climb a ladder to access overhead storage.
Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
Work cooperatively with others and meet schedules.

Responsibilities

Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Bakery Department and its Associates.
Achieve department goals in sales, profit, customer experience, and engagement.
Ensure safety, food handling, and department compliance.
Provide training, feedback, and leadership to bakery staff.
Maintain proper stocking, pricing, and display within the department.
Assist with food preparation, catering, and special orders as needed.
