Lowes Foods is seeking a Bakery Department Manager to supervise the bakery team, ensure guest service excellence, and uphold merchandising and department operations. You will assume the duties of the Department Manager in their absence.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality and safety, managing inventory and labor budgets, training staff, and handling product preparation, ordering, stocking, and guest service as needed. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with guest service focus.
• Ability to work well with others and lead a team.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of bakery operations.

Responsabilités

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from bakery department staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the bakery department.
• Maintain inventory and supplies at the desired level.
• Operate department according to merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowe's Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to staff.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as needed.
• Maintain department labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform PA announcements.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
