Lowes Foods seeks a Bakery Department Manager to oversee guest service, merchandising programs and daily operations in the bakery.

You will supervise staff, manage inventory and ensure product quality, sanitation, and safety, while stepping in for the Department Manager in their absence.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, PA announcements, and achieving department goals with a strong emphasis on guest experience and profitability.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with guest-service focus.
• Ability to supervise and develop bakery staff.
• Experience with inventory, order and cost controls.
• Knowledge of bakery operations and product quality standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Capable of training staff and giving constructive feedback.
• Ability to work with computer systems and store software.

Responsabilités

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from bakery staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the bakery department.
• Maintain inventory and supplies levels.
• Operate department according to merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Provide guidance and training to bakery hosts for performance.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking and guest service as needed.
• Maintain department labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform PA announcements.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
