Job summary

ShopRite of Byram, Stanhope, NJ, seeks a Bakery Manager to direct all functions of the Bakery Department and lead its Associates toward department goals, including sales, profit, customer experience, and associate engagement.

You will ensure safety, food handling, staffing, training, and daily operations under the General Store Manager, while maintaining policy compliance and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Bakery Department and its Associates.
• Achieve department goals related to sales, profit, and customer experience.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Lead onboarding, training, and development of associates.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, and display standards.
