Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or food service desirable.
• Minimum 2 years' management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket.
• Previous decorating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes excellent customer relations and resolves customer issues professionally.
• Takes orders and decorates bakery products; creates finished goods in a timely fashion.
• Decorates cakes and other bakery items using various designs and recipes.
• Assists Bakery Manager with daily operations, merchandising, and staff training.
• Oversees inventory, scheduling, and production logs to control costs and waste.
• Ensures adherence to recipes, freshness, and proper dating/receiving procedures.
• Keeps the bakery well-stocked, clean, and presentable for customers.
• Supports cross-department cooperation to improve workflow and performance.
