Responsibilities

• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment according to company guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, prepare and mix ingredients per recipe.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
• Use kitchen equipment (stove, fryer, steamer, robot coupe).
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Know store layout to locate products.
• Stay current with ads and products.
• Respond to questions with product knowledge.
• Maintain inventory awareness.
• Ensure proper temperatures and logs.
