Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery/deli items per customer requests using appropriate equipment.
• Offer product samples to boost customer discovery and sales.
• Inform customers about bakery/deli specials.
• Provide fresh products per order with correct portions to minimize shrink.
• Recommend deli/bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Operate bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately using kitchen tools.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Monitor product quality and sell-by dates; take action as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and notify management of repairs.
