The Kroger Co. is seeking a Grocery Clerk for Bakery/Deli to create an outstanding customer experience. You will assist the department manager in achieving sales goals, maintain a safe, clean environment, and promote the Customer 1st strategy while delivering exceptional service.

You will handle bakery/deli items, assist customers with orders, and maintain proper temperature and inventory controls. Prior bakery/deli exposure is helpful, with strong communication and teamwork skills.”

Formación

• Ability to obtain a current food handler permit once employed.

Responsabilidades

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) prepares items per customer requests using bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, mix ingredients and use standard kitchen utensils.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and company safety programs.
