Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products ordered, ensuring correct portion size and reducing shrink.
• Recommend items to customers to meet their needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure and mix ingredients with kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Maintain product temperature logs and ensure fair dates are followed.
• Explain products and respond to customer questions with knowledge.
