Job Responsibilities:

  • Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
  • Inform customers about bakery and deli specials.
  • Provide fresh products ordered by customers, ensuring correct portions to prevent shrink.
  • Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
  • Use bakery equipment per company guidelines.
  • Prepare foods according to recipes and food safety standards.
  • Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients accurately.
  • Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
  • Check product quality and freshness, review 'sell by' dates.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
  • Understand store layout to assist customers efficiently.
  • Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conditions.
  • Ensure proper storage temperatures and maintain logs.
  • Foster trust and respect among team members.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Adhere to food safety and safety procedures.
