Job Responsibilities:

  • Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
  • Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
  • Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrink.
  • Recommend bakery or deli items to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
  • Prepare foods following safety protocols and recipes.
  • Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients accurately.
  • Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
  • Check product quality and review expiration dates.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
  • Understand store layout and assist customers in locating products.
  • Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conditions.
  • Ensure proper storage temperatures and maintain logs.
  • Promote a respectful and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
  • Adhere to food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
  • Report accidents involving customers or staff.
