We are seeking a dedicated Bakery/Deli Clerk to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. The role involves establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, assisting the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, and ensuring all quality assurance standards are met. Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery and deli items according to customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples to customers to promote new or inquire about products.
• Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend bakery or deli items to customers to meet their needs.
• Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens following company guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to safety and cooking standards, measure and mix ingredients, and package products appropriately.
• Check product quality, review expiration dates, and take necessary actions.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise; report discrepancies.
• Assist customers in locating products and stay informed about current promotions.
• Maintain inventory, ensure proper temperatures, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Create a welcoming environment, promote trust and respect among staff, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
