The Bakery/Deli Clerk should offer product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products. They will inform customers of bakery and deli specials, provide fresh products, recommend items, and use all bakery equipment according to guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing foods, measuring ingredients, packaging, labeling, inventory management, quality checks, and maintaining proper temperatures.

The role requires understanding store layout, staying current with ads, maintaining product knowledge, monitoring inventory, and ensuring food safety and safety procedures are followed. Additional duties include promoting a respectful environment, creating welcoming atmospheres, managing conflicts, acting with integrity, providing support to customers including minors and those with special needs, and performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
