Responsibilities include:

• Offering product samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products.
• Informing customers of bakery and deli specials.
• Providing customers with ordered products of correct portion size to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommending deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Using bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Preparing foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients as per recipes.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventorying ingredients and merchandise.
• Checking product quality and reviewing 'sell by' dates.
• Properly using kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and addressing discrepancies.
• Ensuring proper storage temperatures and maintaining logs.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers.
• Adhering to food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Maintaining equipment and notifying management of repairs.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment and managing conflicts professionally.
• Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Supporting diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
