Essential Job Functions:

1. Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to customers to promote new or inquire about products.
3. Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
4. Provide customers with ordered products, ensuring correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
5. Recommend products to customers based on their needs.
6. Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens following company guidelines.
7. Follow food safety and temperature logs, prepare foods according to instructions.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients using appropriate utensils and equipment.
9. Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise.
10. Check product quality, review expiration dates, and take necessary actions.
11. Properly use kitchen equipment including stoves, scales, fryers, and steamers.
12. Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
13. Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
14. Understand store layout to locate products efficiently.
15. Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and ads.
16. Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer questions with suggestions.
17. Monitor inventory and stock conditions, report discrepancies.
18. Ensure proper temperature maintenance in cases and coolers, keep logs.
19. Create a welcoming environment for customers, promoting trust and respect among staff.
20. Adhere to all food safety and safety procedures, report unsafe conditions or accidents.
21. Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
22. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts professionally.
23. Act with honesty and integrity, follow directions, and assist customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
24. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range: $16.91 - $24.15 per hour.
