Job summary

SpartanNash in Grayling, MI is seeking a Bakery/Deli Associate to prepare, package, label, and merchandise bakery and deli products, supporting store operations and guest experience. You will stock backrooms, coordinate with other departments, and follow safety, cleaning, and PPE guidelines while meeting production plans and keeping products rotated and dated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Bakery/Deli products to production planner.
• Package and label Bakery/Deli products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery/Deli products per flight plan.
• Stock backroom with Bakery/Deli products; rotate and date cases.
• Coordinate with other departments and stores to drive growth.
• Notify Bakery/Deli Manager when products or supplies need ordering.
• Follow PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.
• Perform other duties as needed.
